How long to get results for medical exam

Hi

my wife has an interview on the 18th of feb for a cr1 visa. She scheduled her medical exam on the 15th and I’m wondering if that’ll be enough time to get the results or should she reschedule. She was told that the dr doesn’t send the results and she’ll have to deliver  them herself

Do not reschedule the interview.  If the exam results aren't ready, she will receive a 221g pending the results.  Rescheduling the interview could result in a long delay.

Senior Master Sergeant, US Air Force- Retired (after 20+ years)- Missile Systems Maintenance & Titan 2 ICBM Launch Crew Duty (200+ Alert tours)

Registered Nurse- Retired- I practiced in the areas of Labor & Delivery, Home Health, Adolescent Psych, & Adult Psych.

IT Professional- Retired- Web Site Design, Hardware Maintenance, Compound Pharmacy Software Trainer, On-site go live support, Database Manager, App Designer.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

would you happen to know how long results usually take?

tge consulate is in South Africa which is normally not busy especially since covid has decreased the amount of travel visas

You might want to ask that question in the regional country forum as it varies widely from place to place.
