GC expires April 2021

Hi all,

 

I'm a 2 year gc holder (K1 visa).

I applied for my ROC last year (divorced) and the 18 month extension letter came a couple weeks ago. 

 

I'm a British Citizen, and Friday I traveled to Tanzania to visit my mother. 

I forgot the extension letter at home. My GC doesn't expire until April 2021. 

 

Will this cause problems when traveling back? 

I have a layover in Istanbul, Turkey.

 

I'm thinking of getting a copy scanned over, or shall I send the original to where I'm at via UPS?

We don't know when you're planning on heading back to the US. If it's before the expiry date of the greencard then there won't be an issue. If it's after that date there will probably be an issue.

So I should be ok with just the GC? Or shall I get docs sent over?

Yes. Just the GC is fine since it still hasn't expired.
