I’m Allen TX resident. Has my citizenship interview on Dec 04 and passed and later on i received my Oath Ceremony notice to be on January 12,2021 . But on Dec 22.2020 they sent me a notice that the Oath Ceremony is cancelled due to “ unforeseen circumstances “ and a few days later another confirmation letter to not go to the Plano event center where the Oath Ceremony was scheduled but in this notice they have mentioned the actual reason for cancelation that it is because if  “ Health crisis Covid” and they will send a new notice . Since then my status still shows “ Oath ceremony will be scheduled and no more update !!!

a friend of mine had his interview two weeks after mine and his Ceremony was scheduled on Feb 05.2021 same Dallas office which is frustrating that USCIS mentioned we “ place you in line” but they don’t , that they cancelled our ceremony and did not schedule us for the following one they arranged on Feb 05

i tried to reach to USCIS but it was useless and although the arranged tier 2 call back but it never happened

how many here hs same situation ? Did any of you received a new notice yet?

did you take any action or reach out to uscis?

please share

I had a similar issue here in Orlando. I interviewed on Jan 6, got the approval letter with me of my application, got a notice of scheduled oath on Jan 11, then a cancellation letter on Jan 25 and no further updates.

Today i received notification that my oath ceremony has been scheduled , but still don’t know since it takes day or so for the notice to show in the document.

So, did the notice show up in documents yet? When is your oath?

Finallu shows the date March 08, hiw about you any updates?

Great. Only one more month.

My interview is next week. Just checking what the wait time is like for the oath after the interview.

Looks like USCIS is catching up on the back log. Read on another forum that someone who had their interview on the 14th has their oath on Feb 8th (same Irving location where they had the interview). So, about a month. If the same holds true for me, maybe I will also be at the oath ceremony on Mar 8th with you.... 😁

February 11, 2021 Oath Ceremony Will Be Scheduled
February 11, 2021 We recommended that your Form N-400, Application for Naturalization, be approved. Your case was submitted for quality review.

Please up date here when you get your ceremony scheduled, i have family emergency to travel outside the country but i don't want to take any chance and wait for this last step to finish. :(

Sure, will do. Keep an eye on the Dallas thread too - https://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/715516-dallas-n-400-filers-thread/

Based on what I've been observing, we should get an oath notice within 2 weeks (by 26th). Most people who interviewed on a Thursday received the oath notice email alert the following Saturday - so tomorrow (20th) for us, but the Irving office was closed most of this week due to bad weather, so could be delayed. I still hope to know my oath date by the end of this month.

The IO said that they are doing oaths only on Mondays & Fridays. And based on people who interviewed in Jan, I am thinking ours will be towards the end of March (26th or 29th) or early April (2nd, 5th or 9th).

If you can travel immediately, I say go now. They will give you at least one month notice for the Oath ceremony (hope you are signed up for the email & text alerts with USCIS). So you will get enough time to plan and come back in time for your Oath ceremony.
