I am sorry to say this, but it's best that you are aware: even if you only have the best and most honest intentions, and only plan to meet in Dubai for tourism, your fiancée will likely face more scrutiny for the reasons you listed. Not for a missing CFO certificate.

I am planning on that but with an approved K1 and a CFO certificate I would stand a chance?

You do not have an approved K-1 visa........

Sorry, an approved  I797 petition waiting for embassy approval, which is our excuse for seeing each other. I would think this would at least mean something to them, right? If I had an approved K1 she would be leaving to America and not touring in Dubai 🙂

My fiance applied for a tourist CFO certificate and didn't do as well as expected on the interview questions as her first response is " I don't know" when she is nervous 😞 The CFO officer did give us an extensive list of documents to provide though. If these are all provided, which we have, can they still deny you? Can they even deny a tourist CFO if you give them everything they have asked? Anyone with any experience on this? Thanks

CFO is not needed in your case to visit Dubai

You have an approved petition.   Do not confuse the petition with a visa.   No visa has been approved or issued

This is possibly also the source of OP's confusion. If he told others that his fiancée had an approved K1 visa (meaning the visa sticker is in the passport) then YES, a CFO certificate is needed.

But since they only have a petition approval, NO CFO certificate is needed.

You have a chance, but both you and your fiancée need to learn more about the process. Do not mislead people, including CFO staff and immigration officers, by saying you have an approved K1 when in fact, you only have an approved petition.

Your fiancée will need to prepare herself to answer confidently and honestly to any questions about her intent to return to the PH after her Dubai trip.

CFO is a scam.

Always has been, always will be.

They had a person from a bank trying to get everyone to sign up for credit cards at my girls CFO meeting.

I sponsored a couple many years ago, During CFO they told them to make sure to remit money back to Philippines once they got a job in the USA for SSI  (Social Security Philippines).

But the lack of a visa doesn't prevent her from attending GCP but it's not needed.

YMMV

Thanks, I sent the CFO officer my NOA2 so I'm sure she understood my confusion, and we let her know we were just looking for a tourist certificate 🙂

My fiance is also bringing her 18 month old son which could be good or disastrous depending on who I ask 😞

Which seminar did she attend?  GCP or PDOS?

YMMV

Thanks for the clarification.

@Marek50 there's a fair bit of luck involved. Much will depend on how she presents herself and how prepared she is (those things you can both control), and which immigration officer she faces on the day of your travel (out of your control).

For the tourist certificate, it's just a phone interview and the submitting requested documents. Usually they send the weblink after, but the officer wants to talk to my fiance first.....or tell her she is denied

Crazy question, our Dubai visa is good for 60 days and we try again in a few weeks to get through immigration if she gets offloaded?
