Hello all,

My husband had his IR1 visa interview more than 2 weeks ago. They asked us to additionally submit form i864a for the joint sponsors (my uncles) wife and the IRS transcript. For some reason my uncle will not allow his wife to sign the form leaving us absolutely hopeless.

My question is. We have found a new sponsor and gathered all new documents and forms, I just don’t know how to submit this to the embassy. We are in Abu Dhabi. On the CEAC portal I can’t find a way to remove the old joint sponsor and create a new one I think that’s something on the embassy’s side. I have emailed a week ago with no reply yet. Does anyone know if this can be done manually? Has anyone been in a similar situation, what did you do; and how long did it take 😫

Have you tried the delete and replace functions?
