Are those who got interviews already filed based on military service or you're just really lucky? 🤔

Anyway, when my Estimated wait time countdown reached 0 days I started getting this We're taking longer than expected message and nothing ever since... My estimated case completion time is next February, but I feel like it's more of a "don't even expect an answer before that", instead of the time when the case would actually be completed.

We must just be really lucky. I dont understand it.

Hello Everyone, I will be filing N400 in April, so I started working on the online application and collecting evidences, I was wondering where do I locate my USCIS online account number? don't know even if I have one?!

Also for those who filed based on the 3 years rule, did you front load you application with marital evidence? like bank statements, leases, insurances, etc.... since you got married?

Thank you

Yes, I did. I think this would save a lot of time as I would rather not get an RFE or spend time on this during the interview 😄

The only times you can give the USCIS evidence is when you:

  • submit the form
  • go to the interview
  • get an RFE

You can upload more evidence once you submit the form but there's a disclaimer that they don't have to take those into account when they make a decision. And if you don't submit any or just a little marital evidence the IO will prepare for your interview differently or you might get an RFE that will delay your case.

I also collected all the plane tickets for the international travels and dug up all the contracts I had for work, didn't submit these, just in case I'll need it. I do tend to over organize and prepare though 🤔 Basically I just want to make everyone's life easier and have one of those 13 minute naturalization interviews:

I just logged into my.uscis.gov and I can see my account number at My Account > Profile > Online Account Number. I didn't find it before submitting (maybe it wasn't there 🤷‍♀️ yet) and the receipt notice had the account number anyway so I wouldn't worry about it

Good luck with your case! 😊

Feb Filers - Is there anyone who filed in February and still waiting on Biometrics reuse or Biometric appointment letter? I filed for myself and my parents in the first week of February. Got a Bio re use letter for my application end of Feb, but nothing for my parents yet. Wondering why that may be and worried if I did something wrong when helping them file their application 😐 Interestingly their time to completion moved to September, while mine remains November!

Do not worry! It is normal. Your parent could get a bio metrics reuse instead of taking bio metrics like you.
