Ok good, with 2008 u can train online https://my.uscis.gov/en/prep/test/civics/view

but going back to procedure, how do you take the test? orally or with computer?

It is my understanding that it is an oral test. Officers will ask up to 10 questions and you need to get 6 of then right (for the 2008 test)

This is based on a few friends' previous experiences

Slightly off topic but I thought I'd share.

I've been checking the status of my tax refund on IRS.gov. They don't give a lot of information, basically just "Return Received", "Refund Approved", "Refund Sent".

Mine has been stuck on "Return Received" for almost 2 weeks.......this morning, my refund was deposited in my bank account, and the tracker is still showing "Return Received"

Bottom line.......government status trackers aren't 100% reliable, and just because you haven't seen an update, it doesn't mean that nothing is happening.

If you need your tax return transcripts, just sign up with IRS and go into your document tab, you'll see there  a button saying transcripts just choose for immigration purposes and you can print it out or save it immediately. Here is the link

Is she a Feb filer? Mine still shows the original "Case was received and a receipt notice was emailed".

I've seen a couple of January filers have received March interviews. Their interview notices came about a month after their biometrics reuse notice.

So, I can NOT become a US citizen before May 11, (5 years on my GC) but I also know that they schedule interviews 50 days before the interview itself, 50 days it's a max amount of the day before the interview

Every case is different.... There's a December filer that got their reuse on 1/8, their interview notice on 2/4, and their interview is 3/9. January filer got reuse on 1/16, interview notice on 2/22, and interview is on 3/30. I've seen interviews as quickly as 3 weeks after interview notice, it depends on the office.
