I-94 question on I-130 form

There is a question: "What is the beneficiary's Form I-94 Arrival-Departure Record number?"

 

My parents not seem to have a I-94 when they arrived in January. Is that okay ? Should i just simply leave this field blank ?

Do you mean looking up their I-94 online ? i did not know you could do that.

Wow ! I did some googling and looks like i can look it up online: https://i94.cbp.dhs.gov/I94/#/recent-search ! Cool. Let me try it out and see how it goes. Will post my update.

Online is the only place.  They haven't issued a paper i94 in about a decade

Not that I need it anymore but thank heavens, those staples all over my passport used to annoy the heck out of me !!
