The live chat is back on,  it seems like early feb PDs are moving forward now, I just got my bios today, try to ask the agent if you got your FP appointment scheduled , if not request expedite ASAP

This is so helpful! I could not go pass the agent because she asked if I have my biometrics scheduled.

PD was Feb 9.

 

No bios appointment yet.  Was really hoping to get the authorization to travel soon, since are expecting a child.

 

Anyone have any luck on getting this?

 

The case status shows no update to any of our cases. AOS, EAD, and the travel doc.

Lucky you! I see on your timeline that your PD is Feb 9th. I’m Feb 3rd and still haven’t received my bio appointment letter😞

Is there anyone on this thread with a PD first week of Feb and « allocated » to the National Benefit Center who already received his/her bio appointment letter?...

Hopefully soon! It's coming!! Its almost like they do the dates at random. Just messaged USCIS using Emma couple days ago not sure if it triggered something. They told me no appointment was scheduled

I did contacted Emma a few days ago too and was told the same (no appointment scheduled)...

your appt should be on its way,  there was a lot of movement with us early feb PDs in the last few days

03/27/2021 Check Cashed

03/29/2021 AOS text message received

Update again:

04/05/2021 Refiled EAD for missing signature. Case was received.

06/03/2021 Biometrics letter received

07/02/2021 Biometrics done!

07/03/2021 Case status changed to "Case Is Being Actively Reviewed By USCIS"

If I well remember, typing the keyword « agent » puts you in touch with a live agent.

Is it the EAD request itself that triggers the biometrics, or does the request actually need to be approved? Thank you for sharing everything that you've learned so far.

 my understanding is that the expedite request triggers the biometrics, for instance my expedite request is still in process, but it triggered my bios, I've got my appointment on 19th this month. a lot of people get their request rejected and they still get the bio appointment  3 o 4 days later, the agent is like 'oh this person PD was like 3-4 months ago, why he/she hasn't gotten  their FP appointment yet, send the letter!!!' (my theory of what happens)
