This is a DHS website, a newer version of the USCIS website. My Case Status on USCIS is the old website. And yes, they both show updates on your cases, but they work independently and sometimes one website shows the updates sooner than the other. Man you are a genius

The letter that I received for the account is from uscis.

Trust me no sarcasm intended when I said you are a genius. I said that because MOST of us here are only following the my case status on USCIS, and not the DHS website. so thanks to you, now I know I can spread the word to signup on the DHS website to get the biometric status. And like I said before, DHS and UsCIS are the same, but the website you are on is the newer version of the USCIS run by the DHS.

Everything i send was paper forms.

after i send my employment permit application I received a notice how to do an account on my.uscis.com

Was provided on that notice an account number and an access code

is where I look to see if they have done any updates

Same - paper submission, and I use the same site to track status however, we finished biometric last month, and just received RFE for i-693 -- however, I don't see the tab "documents" -from your screenshot.

And you received that notice how to create the account online?

 

under that tab - documents are those the acceptance letter and the appointment scheduled 

 

lower on the screen i can see that uscis add scan of my application

No. I just happened to have read that someplace. I believe if you use "mycase" -- and then select the option to "sign in/create account" - it takes you to this page. Each time you log-in, it will text you a security code, you enter that and you will then see all your applications together on one screen with their status.

You will have to verify your identity. Go on "My Account" and then "Verify your identity"

Yes, they show all the cases and updates 

i tried to do a picture and sent it how it looks, but because is to big I can’t attach
