Possible, but anyway they take their sweet time for everything.

they should move a bit faster, I don’t think is so hard to move all the cases faster

i feel like 3-4 years ago everything was moving very fast

Biometrics appointment letter received: 4/22

Biometrics completed: 5/13

Hi everyone! 
 

so we received text notices of our receipt numbers on 3/21/21. We were waiting for the receipt notice(s) to come in the mail, but nothing ever came. I checked out status online and all three cases say “Notice Was Returned To USCIS Because The Post Office Could Not Deliver It”. That was on 4/13. I called, sent an email to the lockbox address and went on the USCIS website to request the notices be sent again. We are still waiting for them. One of the agents told me that they rarely send out second copies so I’m a little panicked. Has anyone heard of this before? 

Meanwhile, my husband has not been able to get his drivers license because we need to show the I-797 for the I-485. We’re also still waiting (obviously) for his EAD approval. We filed in February. I had a baby in March and him being able to work would be a huge financial relief for our family. Is it possible to request an expedite on the EAD due to the birth of a child?

I don’t know how useful it is, but have you also tried submitting an inquiry on this page? https://egov.uscis.gov/e-request/displayNDNForm.do

There are some stirrings of life: we received the I-693 deficiency notice in the mail yesterday, 5/22. PD:2/26.

Better check that post office not being able to deliver issue  out too before your GC is mailed. I'd talk to someone at your post office to find out if they are having issues delivering to your house. Better to fix it now if there is a problem rather than once USCIS sends your cards!

@msrodriguez That is unfortunate; you should still be able to chat with Emma to retrieve your receipt number.

With regards to expediting EAD, I have read about several successful cases from other online forums; so definitely worth a try.

 

For future reference, signing up for the Informed Delivery USPS would be a good idea to know about your incoming mails. And as @Sarge2155 has suggested, do reach out to your local post office.

That's good; does the RFE ask you to mail your medical i-693?

It’s just the usual deficiency notice, reminding us that we will need to have an I-693 with us at the interview or will need to send one by mail, if requested.

Did anybody received the work permit after biometrics appointment?

 

i know already two cases they received after biometrics the interview, but never received the social security or the work permit

We are still waiting on a biometrics appointment! Has anybody without a priority date gotten their appointment set up yet?
