ach USCIS representative via chat itself. Go to their website USCIS.gov (https://uscis.gov/) and try to start with virtual assistant Emma first and say "did not receive receipt notice". It will throw few comments. Then say "chat with a representative". Then click on "case status". it will ask for a receipt number . clic

Just wanted to add my timeline here too.

K1, married to USC. Filed AOS with EAD and AP.

AOS status: Fingerprint fee received on 3/16

EAD& AP status: Case was received 2/11

How can I create an account to see if they sent biometrics appointment to me by any chance? I read somewhere that you could see that instead of missing your appointment due to mail delays.. Thanks!

I just wish they would use the biometrics I already gave them many times at consulates .. Life would be easier on many of us and them too!!

@bebifa Welcome to the thread.

If you meant how to create a uscis account for a detailed history on your case, then you wanna use this link  https://my.uscis.gov/

Biometric appointments were significantly backed up until recently; it seems as though that now more applicants are getting their biometric appointments faster as compared to last month or the month before.

In your case, they might as well use your previous biometrics; there was at least one such case in this thread posted a few weeks ago.

So you could be in luck.

That's good news, I received my receipts no on 03/14/2021 but I did not get anything on biometric yet. Please how did you find out about your Biometrics?

I found out from live chat through Emma.

I hope all February filers receive their biometrics appointments soon.

Thank you for the update! Did you have to escalate to a human in order to get this info from Emma or did you have to fill out this form ("Non-Delivery of Notice" https://egov.uscis.gov/e-request/displayNDNForm.do) ?

Thank you for your reply! It seems like it is *hit* or miss, all they provided us with was the following:

Thank you. This is the information I can provide concerning biometrics .Due to the coronavirus (COVID-1 9) pandemic, we have experienced delays in scheduling or rescheduling Application Support Center (ASC) appointments to collect biometrics. We are working to safely maximize appointment capacity at our centers and are also reusing previously collected biometrics to conduct background and security checks when authorized by law.   Please continue to wait for an ASC Appointment Notice or you may receive Form I-7 9 7, Notice of Action from USCIS indicating that your previously collected biometrics may be reused.
