I called a lawyer and they told me to change only the form that had the issue / was expiring soon and send everything else as it was. Hopefully it's okay!

I have read that is ok to re send the same form as long as it didn't have any mistakes and it is up to date, my forms were ok I guess ut was the payment the problem. I just redid the AOS form beacause they updated that one and will stop receiving thos ones after april 19th, and honestly how the delivery carriers are being delayed now you never know if it will arrive on time or not.

Congratulation, this is fast movement ....... Happy for you. you should be expecting your EAD card mail to you in next 15-20 days.

Please I will like to know if you are K1 filer? Also the exception of Biometric, dose that based on Biometric took at US Embassy in your home country or point of entry?

Thanks! Yes, lets just hope it keeps moving. I have read posts where people see a lot of movement at the beginning then nothing for a year.

I am adjusting from a B2 visa but the fingerprints they are reusing are from DACA.

I re did the AOSform because that one was expiring soon, the I-130, I-765 and I-131 send it like it was, because the problem was the payment, omg now I'm scared

Don’t be. Anyway you have the green paper that comes in top and they know they checked already some of them

Thanks for the replied. I guess because of your visa category that add significant movement to the process. Let keep finger cross your card will arrived in mailbox soon. I am waiting for my biometric if they will not use the one taken by the US embassy/Port of entry. mine is K1.

Hi guys, so I felt I should just update my current experience with the DMV

so I went for a DL renewal thinking it’d be a breeze in the park but I got there with my RECEIPT NOTICES and I was told they couldn’t verify my lawful presence . So they sent my info to dhs through the USCIS SAVE verification check to verify my lawful presence. I was given a verification number to track my status online.
it’s been 3/4 working days already, still case under review.
Hopefully it gets verified on time

anyone with a similar experience

What state are you in? And since this is  a renewal what documents did you use to get your driver's license the first time?

Some states do not accept receipt notices as they are not proof of lawful status. Usually they require an EAD and social security card before they can issue your driver's license or state ID card.

i have it renewed a couple of times before with either my EAD, unexpired DL, i think it was my i20 the very very first time but now all those three had expired just a month before i went for a renewal

Congrats that you got it approved.  TX also lists some other things on their website for other things like registration that are not accurate, or the workers are not well versed on how to do their job.  IDK, but either way it's annoying.  We are just waiting for SSN to get the DL, we don't need it anytime soon so we can wait.

Sent off the child's derivative I-485 AOS forms again today.  Along with I-131.  We just reprinted them all and sent them.  Kept the old forms since they are accepted until April 19th and we just needed to fix the one thing.  Hopefully didn't miss anything this time.

It wasn’t a pretty journey to be honest... out of 4-5 people, every single person kept saying it was impossible until the i demanded to speak to the supervisor who made it possible and I got approved ..

it was really tiring trying to educate the workers I came in contact with.
they heard but they didn’t try to comprehend what I said until the supervisor came and gave me her full attention and actually understood what I was saying.
Anyways , glad that is over

Curious about frequent transfer of file:

February 16th: Case received at Phoenix lockbox
March 23th: Fingerprint fee accepted at NBC; Case receipts mailed
March 30th: Case transferred from NBC to Texas Service Center
April 6th: Case transferred back to NBC upon completion of preliminary review

Normal? Anyone in similar situation?

I am wondering what does a preliminary review entail.
