The checklist is on your interview letter, it details what you should bring. In fact it says bring everything you ever received or sent to USCIS. Had we had an interview we were prepared to bring everything including the kitchen sink. The old saying goes  "It's better to have it and not need it, then to need it and not have it." Let your conscience be your guide.

Unfortunately we just received a rejection notice in the mail for incorrect payment amount. Can anyone confirm the amount their check was? I had thought it was $1225

Are you a K1 marriage based I-485? What code did you use?

Be sure to use the correct filing code of (c)(9) if this code applies to you. The I-485 instructions explains all the codes in detail. If you are filing under a different code (other than (c)(9) the fee for your AOS will not be correct and USCIS will reject your entire packet.

What forms did you submit with your I-485?

Humm unless there is a change in fees. Double check on the USCIS website for the current fees. Once your packet comes back double check the filing code.

Sent it off yesterday! I followed the examples online, and just remembered that I didn't do the N/A for all the empty boxes on one form. Eeks, reckon it will be an issue?

Quick update from me:

03/26 - Checks cashed

03/29  - Text messages with receipt numbers received

So far so good!

Congratulations!!

In our case, our packet was delivered on feb 24th, and nothing yet, this is our 5th week waiting for the Credit Card to be charged. Hope writing this brings luck to our case too.

Now I've been reading about the boxes not filled with N/A could be a cause of rejection?! Because we just leave them blank. I will do my research more.

Well they are behind a lot on the cases.

maybe you have luck and they will not do a big deal of it.

I received mine after a month and a week in the mail, with that notice.

now i am in the second round of waiting, i send again in March 15 and they received on March 16.

i start to think that is about luck lately and what mood they have in the morning
