What specific points in the book are false?

What specific points are true. Maybe Muller should have hired the author and saved the country many millions of dollars

There doesn't seem to be much information about a book. Are you sure you didn't produce a film?

You actually looked?

Conspiracy films are Michael Moore's thing, not mine.. If you looked for my book on Elvis then you likely watched Fahrenheit 9/11,  A film where Moore claims that Bin Laden was funding President George W Bush,  and the source who backed up that LIE?  that honor goes to the same scum bag who wrote this book, Craig Unger,  Craig must have realized there was far more money in peddling lies for profit that there was for reporting facts as a Journalist, something he abandoned a long time ago. Another conspiracy book he wrote was of GW Bush and the Saudi's, where he claimed Bush was working with the Saudi''s for profit and that he had ties to Bin Laden himself.

This thread reads like the National Inquirer, I hate to think what the next one will be, ""Trump partners with Big Foot for land development deal"

Yeah, you claimed to have written a book so I did check that out. I have seen lately that not everyone takes the issue of credibility seriously. I do.

It's been a good number of years, but Moore, iirc, didn't directly claim that OBL funded Bush but he did present an image that the Biden Ladens were close (six degrees of separation context) with the Bushs via the Carlyle Group, along with asking why the Bin Ladens were "secretly flown" out of the US. The only rational takeaway from that was how many corrupt connections career politicians inextricably have.

People are very squeamish on both sides about the things they read. I sit here laughing at the mental gymnastics people perform to justify not reading something (oh no not Breitbart, eww blogs, etc). Nonetheless, even the things we disagree with greatly can have important information to extract.

Amazing claims need amazing proof. This sounds a bit OTT honestly, and I detest Trump.

As an aside, I won't read a blog if my browser tells me it's potentially harmful to my computer. So I'll google the headline of the article and find an alternative source for the info, like that Romney piece.

Smart. Smarter still to find reliable sources of information.

Aren't blogs professional standard journalism? Next you will tell me that Alex Jones is full of it.

You might be thinking of random guy on twitter.

Actually I was thinking of randos on YouTube with their 35 minute videos of the real deal truth if I would stop being a sheep and open my eyes.

Can't read blogs, social media, op-eds, websites my browser doesn't approve of, websites my preferred fact checker/site approver dislikes, sites with disliked domain names, can't watch Youtube videos, Periscope videos, can't read or watch anything from people who might have ties to people that like posts of those I might disagree with.. only approved viewpoints and sources allowed!

What is Standard Journalism to you?

I cringe when I hear people on both the left and right call themselves ""Journalist's"" when in reality they're nothing but pundits with bias.

Do you regularly click on links that your browser tells you are unsafe to follow when there are other ways of looking at the same information? I thought it was common knowledge not to go to unsafe spaces. There are plenty of sites that I see linked here that I think are whackadoo but are safe, and I do go and look at the information. I'm not following a link because someone else tells me it's perfectly safe for them, thanks. I'm only talking about links here.

Can't stick forks into electrical outlets, can't walk out into the middle of the freeway, can't walk into the tiger enclosure at the zoo... only approved activities allowed!

So true, reading unapproved viewpoints and sources is deadly! It's amazing how I've managed to survive it.

You sound like you wouldn't like some of the parties I went to pre-pandemic. :P

Actually that's a lie. 😕 I'm an introvert and I hate parties for the most part. I am and have been married to people who love them. So occasionally I have seen people stick a fork into an outlet at a party, but not that often, and really only because someone else made me go.
