We just sent in Packet 3.

What next? Do I just wait for packet 4 now? I thought I would need to pay a fee before submitting the Ds-160 but apparently not. When do I pay the Visa fee in Montreal?

Questions like this is why we have regional forums

Now you wait for Packet 4/an interview date. Montreal has been veryyy slow lately in giving K1 interview dates. They haven’t given dates for K1 since November 16th. There is a small group of people like you who submitted their P3 but have yet to receive an interview date (most of this group submitted their P3 in November). Also I noticed that you got P3 on November 9th. Any reason why you didn’t submit it earlier? Just wondering if there’s any delay that caused you to submit more than 2 months after you got it so I can prepare when I get p3

You don’t pay the visa fee until the actual interview date.

pray and hope that they give out k1 dates very very soon.

Thanks for the reply.

Hope they give dates out soon...my NOA2 expired in June but i didnt get packet 3 till November and I was away till a few weeks ago. Hopefully the NOA2 is extended and I can still get an interview before whatever the new expiry rate would be (I read they only extend it by a year but hopefully theres an exception due to Covid)

Don’t worry about NOA2 expiry date. I’ve heard that they will extend it. Just bring an updated intent to marry letter at the interview.
