Manila lockdown again?

The Philippines poor education system mingled together with this pandemic and inability to to attend school along with the horrible IT infrastructure that pretty is pretty much down 50% of the time, makes it impossible for many kids to attend classes.

Go for it but you aren't alone with this situation.   The children are not US citizens or even stepchildren of a USC.  The US government won't step in because they don't have standing.

This entire thing is a mess and I don't know who is to blame. These lockdowns are pointless in my opinion. People under 15 or over 65 still not allowed to go outside. My fiancée's two young children..

My spouse is a teacher at DepEd high school grade, I can tell you pretty much no learning is happening or has happened for the last 10months. She only has 2 online classes a week and 1-3 kids show up

Someone was telling me that starting February 1st Manila is going to be on lockdown again so my question is is this true and also does that mean my wife won't be able to go to her interview on Februar

I just sent his US passport as well as the issues the school was having, the documentations and emails stating the connectivity problems.

The United States is now a country obsessed with the worship of its own ignorance.  Americans are proud of not knowing things.  They have reached a point where ignorance, is an actual virtue.  To reject the advice of experts is to assert autonomy, a way for Americans to insulate their increasingly fragile egos from ever being told they're wrong about anything.  It is a new Declaration of Independence: no longer do we hold these truths to be self-evident, we hold all truths to be self-evident, even the ones that arent true.  All things are knowable and every opinion on any subject is as good as any other.  The fundamental knowledge of the average American is now so low that it has crashed through the floor of "uninformed", passed "misinformed", on the way down, and now plummeting to "aggressively wrong."

Whole thing is a joke.
