After filing I-485 for my foreign wife who came with K-1 visa we received a request for tax return, 1099s and W-2s...even though I submitted my 2006 tax return with I-485 application...I read that I had to submit 3 years of tax returns even though the application only requested 1 tax return for the most recent year...I sent the 3 years of tax returns, 1099s and W-2s...now I was wondering if there's any way to confirm that USCIS is happy with what I sent them or if I have to send them something else.

Did you already respond to the RFE with three years of tax returns, or the three years of tax returns is what you sent with your original application? If you haven't sent them what they requested in the RFE, do so even if you have already submitted it with your application. It seems many people have gotten the same RFE even though they sent their tax information with the I-485. Send them what they want and you should be fine.

I sent 2006 tax return with application...then sent 2004,2005,2006 three years tax returns plus 1099s and W-2s after I got the RFE...now all I want is confirmation that the USCIS is happy...that they are working on my application and I don't have to send anything else.
