Yes, but the one thing we learned very early on in this pandemic was the vulnerability of the elderly and those in assisted care facilities.  His EO forcing Covid positive patients back into these facilities was dumb on the surface (our governor did the same thing leading to a lot of potentially unnecessary deaths), the rest is just Cuomo being Cuomo, and was predictable given his ego of wanting to be the leader he is not.

I don't disagree with you about any of it. I think the focus should stay on Cuomo, however, and not whatever dumb celebrity or another said about him. It feels like a distraction from the tragedy that doesn't really serve any purpose except to feed the outrage machine. They don't need to be held to account, but he does.

Kim, who has heavily criticized the governor over his administration's decision to withhold data on COVID deaths in nursing homes from lawmakers, told host Martha MacCallum that Cuomo began the call by "asking me if I were an honorable man."

"He continued to yell and let me know that I haven't seen his wrath and his anger ..." recounted Kim, who added that Cuomo told him that he "he can go out tomorrow and start telling the world about how bad of a person I am and pretty much ruin and finish my career and my livelihood.

The media most likely lead Cuomo to believing he was invincible.  There was very little coverage within the MSM regarding his idiotic EO, which was counter to one of the first major things we learned when this virus hit, we need to protect the most vulnerable.  Now the MSM is turning on him and he is becoming politically toxic (possibly due to the Orange Man no longer around).  Based on what has come out so far, it is a very real potential he could be prosecuted for obstruction of justice, and his political future is certainly  in jeopardy.  It is refreshing to see the MSM slowly come around to the Dems and their constant gaslighting.  It will take time for the MSM to gain back their respect, but it is a positive direction.  Of course as they do this they cover Cruz with the zeal that was sorely lacking when there were other politicians flaunting their own Covid rules.
