Sorry in advance for phrasing anything the wrong way!  I'm wondering if I can change my name (to husband's name) after submitting the i130 application or that will cause a problem?

Knowing the USGovernment..... any change can be done, but may cause problems. Also, gotta change name on Passport. Due to Covid delays who knows how long it will take to get new passport. That could cause some problems, especially if travel is needed/desired.
Just a matter if u want to risk possible problems or not.

You're the female and USC and can change your name at any point to your husband's last name

I didn't as it meant changing it too many places:

driving license

Passport

bank

IRS

mortgage (which meant refinancing and paying new closing costs)

credit cards

utilities

car titles (3 for me)

car loan

SS card

just to name a few places so i only use his last name for facebook
