I had something snarky to say, then I realized this was a zombie thread and removed it t. If you can't say something nice, do it on a current thread.

I didn't mean to come across as not nice!

How about something nice: I'm about to roast some chicken thighs with brussels sprouts and shallots, and make a mushroom gravy. And we're going to crack open a split of champagne, because it's Tuesday. :)

I was referring to me, I had something not nice to say. I have a cold and that sounds wonderful but I can't come over for dinner.

Killed it! He spent the last half hour mumbling about ambrosia while it roasted. I had thrown some tiny potatoes onto the sheet along with the sprouts, shallots and chicken and they came out like velvet. I ended up skipping the gravy and glad I did -- the chicken was perfect on its own. I shaved some parmesan reggiano on top for the last 5 minutes and a dusting of cayenne. Champagne was done well before I even flipped the chicken!
