YESSSSSSS my hubby actually heats his water for tea in the microwave..

My mother punched him for that one :)

Hee hee.. The first time he tried to use my electric kettle he didn't know how to use it and couldn't get it to work believe it or not!

That's just NASSSTY  but at least he knows what HOT tea is!! I watched Jim's mom boil water and tea bags in a pot for ice tea....whole thing just confuses me

So that would bring up the next thing

Ramos, if she drinks hot tea, don't try pretend she's not with you when she TRYS to order it at a restaurant!

OH I got another one.......figuring Texas now.

It would probably be very nice if you bought her a kettle

Found alot of people down there didn't have one and just used pots to boil water.

LMAO I thought that it was just me who thought that. I was very surprised to find no kettle when i went to visit. They would run water throught the coffee maker. Those who are die hard tea drinker know that that is the biggest sin of all. My Uncle would turn over in his grave.

Hope that you are taking notes Hun!!!!

Now is it just my loveing fiancee or does everyone in the US need to eat half a cow at every meal.......lol Talk about super sizw me!!

TAKE YOUR SHOES OFF WHEN YOU ENTER THE HOUSE!!!!!!!!! :protest:

Really.. DO IT

Amen, sister, AMEN.

I second that! My husband is getting good at it now, even though I have to remind him sometimes

Oh man. This, this, and this. Not taking your shoes off is the height of rudeness in Canada. It would be like someone waltzing in and taking off their pants and heaping them on the furniture, and then scratching their balls in front of you and your guests.

:lol::lol:

And that is a good one too. Now i regret that I didnt bring my kettle from Canada because I am seriously trying to find one and they dont have much choice.

I didn't realize that the kettle thing was American. I brought my kettle cause Joe said he didn't have one. It died shortly after I got here and it was a real hassle trying to find another electric kettle. I actually found one at a garage sale - it had never been used!

Remembr to say please if you would like her to do something for you, and thank you when she does do something for you . . like bringing you a nice hot cup of tea after dinner :D . We Canadians are nothing, if not polite hehe.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”
