  I saw this on Reddit, and someone commented that we have a political party that is willing to destroy the country to get their way. Some of the responders thought they were talking about Democrats, and others thought they were talking about Republicans, and the irony, I guess, is they are all probably correct.

Those are interesting comments, but as we transform to a country ruled by EOs, almost all of them regardless of the individual that issues them will most likely be challenged.

It's the emotional self-esteem high that liberals get when doing anything.  That is the motivation.  Substance and consequences mean little when you have a "feel good" moment.
