I appreciate any help on this and want to thank anyone who helps answer questions on this site as your help is SO valuable and has helped me make it this far.

 

I am temporarily unemployed in relation to COVID 19 but also situational... long story short I'm a PCA for a family member that has been stuck in a very slow moving process (because of Covid) in order to come home from a facility and I can again work for them. I have begun looking for other jobs but have yet to find one. In all likelihood I will be still looking when the interview happens (in mid February).  

I am planning on adding a different family member as a Co sponsor and bringing all evidence and Form 1-864. Also a letter from the PCA company explaining the situation and that I'm still an employee in good standing as soon as my client comes home, however, the Form 1-864 I filled out at the time of AOS (december 2019) is now completely outdated because of how long it's been since then, and I've obviously not been working or have been paid since then. It's a confusing situation and I'm having terrible anxiety about my husband's application being somehow denied because of my current unemployment. If anyone has any advice/guidance or additional things I should do to help support my case, I would greatly appreciate it.

Can your employer find another client for you to work with? Surely there’s people out there in need of a PCA. Definitely obtain a co sponsor. Good luck.
