I agree, you met the minimum for applying and you should. The line is getting longer each day. If anything, you may get a RFE for more info on your relationship and then you can share any additional trips + chat logs

Hello i'm from tunisia me and my fiancé were talking for 8 months on internet hé came for 7 days we get engaged fianced and he met my parents

is that enough to apply for k1 visa ?? Help

The requirements to file a K1 are

  • petitioner is a US citizen with no disqualifying criminal background and either hasn't filed for a K-1 within the last two years or has a waiver for this (I'm just going to assume this is true)
  • petitioner and beneficiary have met in-person in the last two years and can prove this (sounds like this is true; you have met, whether you have good evidence of this I don't know)
  • petitioner and beneficiary have intent to marry (sounds like this is true, based on saying you got engaged)

So you can file. As to whether you should ...

Have you evaluated whether a fiancé(e) or spousal visa best suits your situation (there are lots of threads on the relative merits of K-1 vs CR-1s here; mostly the consensus is that K-1s are only a good idea if marrying is legally or logistically difficult, or in some niche cases like the beneficiary having 18-21 year-old children he or she wishes to bring with him or her)?

You probably should ask around here with other couples with Tunisian beneficiaries to determine if the embassy/consulate that handles K-1s for Tunisia typically requires more than the minimum level of evidence, and if it's necessary to front-load that with your application or if it's fine for you to bring it with you to the interview.

They might ask, but as long as you're legit just make sure you have proof and can answer them properly! You got this!

But definitely file now.

I think we need sponsor he is a resident intern!???

If it’s just going to be the 2 of you, resident interns make enough to fulfill that requirement.

But that’s too far ahead as what some of the members have advised me as well! Better to file now so you can have the petition wait ‘in line’

This would be my advice for this entire situation.  If you want to apply for the K1 Visa, start the process now.  As what was said before, the worst that will happen is they will request more evidence.  Provide the additional evidence (since at that point you already visited the 2nd, maybe 3rd time) and then life goes on.

It is a nerve racking process, but think of it as applying for a job.  You go through the job listing, figure out you can meet or exceed the requirements, prove that you can (with jobs it is a resume/cv and cover letter) and apply with the evidence.  The same goes for this I-129F.  Grab all the information you can with chat logs, in person pictures, email correspondences, traveling information (including visa stamps).  Convince them as if they are an employer trying to hire you.  The only thing is USCIS will request addition evidence if they need it, whereas an employer will likely reject the application if they do not like it.

If USCIS does not request additional evidence, then the process continues.

My fiance and I are not happy with the situation of hurry up and wait, because she technically is not able to visit here and I am limited on my vacation from my employer.  We are making the best of it and I am actually going to see her the end of March.

When we decided to move forward with obtaining the K-1 visa in December, we gathered the information needed during my trip to Ukraine and I completed and sent it off in January.  So I would say start it now and continue visits to strengthen the relationship.  USCIS just wants you to prove it is bona fide and not just a way for the non citizen to immigrate, basically trying to avoid natural immigration steps to get here faster.

By the way, this is all for if you are still going for the K-1 Visa and not deciding on another route.  I encourage all avenues for whatever will get you together.  My fiance and I discussed the spousal route and decided against it.  COVID might prove different, but we are committed at this point.
