Hey Everyone,

I hope everyone is staying warm. I have some questions on I-130A form.

1. Pdf form of I-130A can be filled but when I save it as pdf and open it from my desktop, I do not see the values that I entered. Is there any way to overcome this or should I simply print after filling out the form and scan it?

2. On the forms, there's lot of questions that does not apply E.g. 'Middle Name', so should I just leave it blank or put N/A?

3. On page 3 of 6, For Spouse Beneficiary's Signature, Since my spouse is abroad, Do I leave both Signature and date empty? Do I have to put any comment where my spouse is abroad?

And on page 5, 6 and 7 of I-130A form, Do I leave everything empty since Interpreter, Person preparing the form and additional Information does not apply. Or do I need to put N/A on every box.

Another question I have is date format. In Nepal, We use DD/MM/YY as USA uses MM/DD/YY. So would that be a problem when they look at marriage certificate since issue date shows 06/01/2021 which is Jan 6, 2021 but they might read as June 1st, 2021?

Any one have been in similar position?

1.  If you open the PDF from the web browser, it will not save any entries.  You need to download the form and open it with Adobe PDF reader or any other desktop PDF program.  Then enter your information and save it.

2.  Leave it blank.  When you print it you can hand enter N/A, as I did.

3.  If spouse beneficiary is not in the US, signature is not required.

For Answer 2, Do I need to print it if I'm uploading it after I'm done. I just plan to leave it empty to the ones like middle name etc. Do you think that will be acceptable?

On the upload section, it also says ' Also, include an image of the back of the photograph with your name and A-Number written in pen or pencil.'

Is that for online upload as well?

I’ve never done an online application.  It cannot hurt to upload an image with the name and A number even though it seems silly.

I think I will just do that just to be safe. Thank you.

Yes I’ve used similar services and have 100 percent acceptance rates.

Hey Mike, So I used this service https://passport-photo.online/us-passport-photo to get my passport photo and they gave me 2 versions, One is full size photo and another is passport size photo. Do I need to upload passport size photo,  and it has same 2 copies of photos up and down. Please provide any suggestion.

For Part 3. Information About your Employment Outside the United States (Provide your last occupation outside the United States if not shown above).

Since I already have it on Part 2, Do I just leave the whole part 3 empty? Sorry just being bit cautious as I always have been to avoid any delays in processing.

You can leave the other parts blank, or as I did, draw a diagonal line across the entire section and write "N/A" on that diagonal line.

Once complete with entries, print it, mark whatever sections or entries with hand-written N/A, and scan it back.  Upload the completed and scanned form to USCIS.

That service wants $5.95. Which is too much money.

Try https://www.idphoto4you.com . The price is right: zero dollars and zero cents. This will give you an image with a 6 x 4 ratio, and 4 2x2 ratio photos arranged next to each other in a 4x4 square. When you upload to CVS or Walgreens, and select a 4x6 photo, the result will be 4 images, with thin block borders that you then carefully cut with scissors or a photo cutter. Splurge and spend a whole dollar make 3 4x6 photos or 12 passport photos in all.
