"Wife was interviewed on the 27th. She ran into the most difficult lady in the consulate. She told me no one in that ROW made it. After I heard that, I felt like a sinking Titanic. But to my luck/her- She got the blue sheet. with requirements of additional documents. Turns out my income is not enough (the lawyer over there said "it's okay I don't need a joint sponsor although I send back all my joint sponsor's documentations and insisted my wife to bring it with her but she listens to the lawyer more than me") And that "mean" lady didn't believed the letters I wrote was mine. She said "How could it be? He came to the US when he was in 4th Grade. How can he write Vietnamese so well?" Ridiculous. So I have to write a sworn statement notorized and send back there. Sigh*** :help: Then the lawyer demanded me to find a joint-sponsor that makes over 30K a year. ( I don't know why he jumped so high) Now more headaches and heartaches too. Sigh"' Just wanna share with y'all. I envied all the lucky people here.

So sorry to hear she wasn't approved. But you're right to be happy that she got a blue sheet and you have an opportunity to provide more documents.

This week is crazy. My fiance was interviewed this week. At total of 7 people were interviewed for K1 on his day. He was the only one to get approved.

Anyway, hang in there! You have a good attitude and I have confidence that eveyrthing will work out soon.

Please keep us upated,

I feel your pain. My fiancee got a blue slip too requesting corrected notarizations on her behalf along with a timeline from me and any other additional information that would help my case. I'm currently working on the timeline and trying to get a letter from my Congressman, hope this works! Anyways keep the faith, she will get her pink slip soon.
