InfoPass appointment for ADIT stamp

Hi all,

I called USCIS on Wednesday 01/13 to schedule an appointment at my USCIS office to get an ADIT stamp, since they made a mistake on my green card. When I called the USCIS officer told me I would receive a call within the next 7 business days to schedule the appointment. I still haven't received it. Should I call USCIS back on Monday? Or should I keep waiting?

Thank you

Has it been 7 business days?  I know of at least 1 holiday and two other days the offices were closed since the 13th.

YMMV

It is 7 business days on Monday (no counting MLK day nor the 2 weekends).

Yes but the 19th and 20th were unplanned closures

On those 2 days they were only closed for in-person services but they still answered calls and did other services. My wife called on January 19th and spoke with a Tier 1 for the same reason as you (i.e. has pending I-90 and is requesting ADIT stamp in passport). She received a call back from Tier 2 earlier today and she is now scheduled for Infopass appointment on February 16th.

Hey, sorry for the delay.

I ended up getting my appointment (even if way after 7 business days) and got the ADIT stamp. Hope your wife got it too. In fact, I have a question: the officer wrote under the stamp things like my alien number, the i-90 confirmation number and I think also the date when I became permanent resident. But it is wrong: instead of 01/05/2021, it looks more like 01/05/2011. Do you think this is a problem?

Thank you.

Maybe each IO does it slightly different. Under my wife's stamp there is only:

  • Her A-number
  • F29 (which is the "Category" on her Green Card)
  • the I-90 receipt number

The receipt number has a slight typo. Maybe since typos are somewhat common then it's not an issue 🤷
