check your online status, you do not always get an email or text message. It can take several weeks before a letter shows up after a status change.

I check my online status every day.  Hopefully it's not going to be too late before I receive some sort of a notification.

I am in the same boat. I had my interview early in January and was approved. Since then it just shows as we placed you in line for an oath.

At my FO in KCMO, it used to be that you'd be placed in the subsequent month's oath. but I fear this will be another biometrics like wait. I waited 9.5 months for biometrics and finally got reuse. I just dread trying to call them again after months of waiting with no change.

I think you are in a much better position than me.  My online status still says "Interview Scheduled" - even though the interview had been done and I received the N-652 notice recommending me for an approval pending the receipt of a final approval.

In your case they have actually placed you in line for an oath ceremony. That is definitely good news. It is only a matter of time for you.

At the end of your interview do you remember receiving a form N-652? If yes, what did it say?

I don't mean to disappoint you but I had my interview on November 13th and my status is the same as yours. I was also wondering if I should inquire, but they probably won't tell me much since the process is within the 120 days.

You are not disappointing me at all.  As you pointed out we both seem to be in the same boat. If nothing happens within the 120 days - I will start making some inquiries.

I wish you all the very best - and I will make sure to update if there's any development on my side.

I'm also in a similar position, but I've been waiting since Feb 2020!

There's not much you can do until 120 days have passed, but I don't think you need to worry too much yet. After 120 days contact your congress members to start pushing USCIS on your behalf.

Thank you. So, what's the status on your situation? What sort of steps did you take after the 120 day mark?

After the interview I got the 'A decision cannot yet be made' notice, due to a pending I-751. The I-751 was approved 3 weeks later, and I received my 10 year green card, but now almost a year later, nothing has happened with the N-400.

I contacted both senators and the congress representative. Each time USCIS just said we are still processing. I also contacted the ombudsman, but they said they can't do anything until my case is outside normal processing time (currently 27.5 months in Brooklyn).

So at the moment, my options are to keep waiting, or sue them for a decision.

I am not sure --I'm reading about cases from Feb 2020-as in 1 YEAR AGO.

I waited 9.5 months for biometrics so nothing surprises me anymore.

I did get an N-652. The officer congratulated me and checked the box that says recommended for approval. the online status changed immediately to placed in line for oath.

I also know a couple --who had filed a week before I did--one of whom had his interview a week before and the other the day before mine. and they are still waiting. so, I'm really in the same boat with them. Until they hear, I won't hear anything.
