Inspiring people is a very big part of being a leader. I call it the bullsh1t factor in any good manager, it may be bs but it's real and it works.

Only if it gets sh!t done.

You inspire the right people, ####### gets done.

GWB is a perfect example of someone who isn't inspiring at all.

And Obama is an example of another person who strikes me as someone who could do a lot of inspiring.

Reagan was partially mentally incapacitated during his presidency.

yeah, but hey, he was inspiring, if not incapacitated!

So, Teddy Kennedy has been incapacitated for 20 years now. That hasn't stopped him.

No, just the senior Senator and the author of terrible bills. But he keeps getting re-elected. But Regan with his diminished capacity of his last year or so in office was still better than anything else we have had.

No, frustrated, perhaps!

Gary apparently has a Republican remark for every Dem one I/we make & comparing a Senator to the Pres is apples to oranges... plus Gary has magic Rep crystal ball but he won't tell em where I can get a Dem one! ;)

The Kennedy name stands for a lot (esp in MA), whether or not it's genetic genius thing. ;)

I hope no one is dumb enough to vote for someone who's family has already been a president again. There are 300,000,000 million people in this nation. I am sure we can find a few other intelligent candidates.

Especially someone who does not talk ###### just to win votes. Has the country not had enough of these types already.

Um, GWB & George Sr???????

Name one politcian who doesn't talk smack.

yes I forgot to throw in 'again'.

Unfortunately politics is now plagued by song n dance and personal insults rather than what direction someone wants to take the country into.

I would like to see an Eisenhower, JFK or Regan. Not some dickhead who only knows how to smile.

The word 'again' - just a little difference there!

Senile old Reagan? Surely you jest.

I am going to start a fight but who cares. Regan was the best president of the 20th century bar none.

Not my cup of tea - the Iran Contra affair was pretty scandalous.

As if no other president ever had a scandal. I could go down the list of every president in the 20th century and name a scandal for each.

You quoted Bill O'Reilly earlier on moral relativism. Are you sure that's what you want to do here?

Paying one set of avowed enemies with weapons and using the proceeds to fund terrorists in Nicaragua is a bit more than a blip IMO.

Contrary to popular belief, I also don't think Reagan's (liberal) economic policies, (which Thatcher copied for the UK) were up to snuff.

Under Reagan we had:

- The Savings & Loan Crisis

- THe Stock Market Crash

- raised the national debt from $700 billion dollars to $3 trillion dollars

- Iran-Contra Affair

and

escalated the Cold War (before ending it)
