I don't think there is any way that the core Christian right Republican base is going to accept Guiliani (or McCain or Romney) as their candidate. I think if any of them are the nominee there will be a protest candidate who will splinter the conservative vote and deliver Clinton to the white house.

If she picks Obama (who I believe will energize the youth vote in a way not seen since 92) as her running mate I think she will be unstoppable

Fingers crossed!!!

No, Minnesota is not strong blue anymore. It's pretty much right down the line, with Minneapolis and the North being extremely blue and most of the rest of the state being red, to simplify things. It was really, really close in the last two elections and the voter groups were all over in 04. We have 1 Republican senator and governor. As of the 06 elections our state legislature is much more Dem, but we're still a pretty divided state

With less than one term as a Senator I don't think he (Oboma) is really qualified. The same can be said for Clinton. But what I see of Clinton would be a disastar of major proportions. After one term of her people would long for the days of GWB.

Gary, what do you base your crystaL ball on? She has a proven record of holding her own in NY as well as 8 years as First Lady. She knows the White House & what Bill went thru.

Put simply - I don't trust her. Her public statements, and the issues she gets behind seem very opportunistic to me. IMO she'd say and/or promise anything to get elected.

I hope no one is dumb enough to vote for someone who's family has already been a president. There are 300,000,000 million people in this nation. I am sure we can find a few other intelligent candidates.

Especially someone who does not talk ###### just to win votes. Has the country not had enough of these types already.

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

You mean, on all counts, like our current president?
