Rejected I-765, but accepted I-485

Hello,

I received the rejection notice (outdated form) for i-765 and receipt notices for I-130 and I-485. The rejection notice says that I just need to submit a new I-765 with the fee. The thing that bothers me is that the notice came with all the supporting documents (including form I-130A and I-693)  that I originally submitted for I-485 and I-130. I am a little bit confused. Did they return the documents by mistake and the officers who are reviewing my case ( I-485 and I-130) didn’t get them and will issue an RFE? Do I have to include these documents with the newly filed I-765?

Thank uou.

If full I-485 fee was paid then it's free to file I-765. You'll attach a photocopy of the I-485 receipt notice as proof and say "Per the N.D. Cal. preliminary injunction in Immigrant Legal Resource Center v. Wolf there is no filing fee for this I-765 application since I properly filed Form I-485 and paid the required fees."

If you do, you should make copies for just in case they still send RFE.
