yes true we are still waiting to be approved,we had NOA1 at 14 march 2006,we have the same message from july 2006 when we check our case online"On July 22, 2006, we received your response to our request for evidence. We will notify you by mail when we make a decision or if we need something from you. If you move while this case is pending, call customer service. You should expect to receive a written decision or written update within 60 days of the date we received your response unless fingerprint processing or an interview are standard parts of case processing and have not yet been completed, in which case you can use our processing dates to estimate when this case will be done. This case is at our CALIFORNIA SERVICE CENTER location." .any suggestion or at less sheering up.thank you so much.

I highly recommend calling your Congressman and getting one of them involved. This application has long passed the point of reasonableness. Your congressman is there to help in these type of cases.

I have a feeling by this point, the case may have been canceled. But do contact a the office of a Senator in your state and see if they can get you more information.

You could also try calling the USCIS, but follow the prompts for responding to an RFE. After you enter your case number you will be able to connect to someone at the service center your case is at. Other prompts on the call system will bring you to the national call center, which usually only has the same information as the website does.

Did you call USCIS? You should have called them when it hit 60 days and regularly there after. I mean I know that the USCIS line has problems, but obviously something went wrong in your case. Misdirected, lost mail from USCIS.

I would also advise calling USCIS and checking their website to see if they have status of your case. I truly feel for you, having to wait so terribly long. USCIS is absolutely ridiculous. Im crossing my fingers for you that it has already jumped to the NVC :)

I'm sorry your wait is this long. At this point, it seems you are in some sort of Administrative Review "black hole". Call USCIS, follow the voice prompts as if you're inquiring about an RFE....you will be asked to enter your case #, and once you do....press the # to speak w/ a speicalist. Perhaps they can tell you what the status is. I would also continue and follow up w/ both congressman and senators for your area(keep calling, e-mailing and phoning them)....and ask them to look into your case and give you a status. At this point, you are way outside the window of processing.....so you should be told what is delaying things. Unfortunately....if they are doing further checking, there is not "timeline" for that....but at least you need to be told what is the status of the case.

Good luck!

You should (that is, the petitioner should) be calling USCIS frequently to ask what is happening. If your Congressman didn't step up to help you, maybe you should also contact your Senators.

I am very sorry it is taking so long. Good luck to both of you.
