If you look at what's already being done to other professional sports (overtly played by men, rather than subtly played by men), this shouldn't be a shock at all. 

 

What's funny to me is how people apparently can't tell that this ramped up concerted effort in such a small span of time is specifically designed to wedge and polarize us. It's where we should be committed to reason, our biological (scientific) understanding of the sexes, and reject this steadfastly, sending a message to these leagues by vocally opposing them, not giving them a dime or minute of our time when they do this. I haven't watched a single NFL game during this kneeling and BLM trash, and refuse to. Like many other hockey fans, I also declared I'd not watch any more NHL if they locked out for a third time in 20 years, which they did and ruined another season on, not to mention ruined small businesses on. Indeed, I haven't watched a single NHL game since, and don't miss it. Why does it matter? Because the masses that disagree with it crawl right back. They've lost every ounce of backbone, which is precisely why these efforts to wedge us are so successful, and why we deserve the chaos by catering to it.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).
