No response from Potomac

I filed the i 130 January 2020 for my husband in Nigeria and I am still yet to get a response or an approval. I was only notified that my application was received and I was given a receipt number. Since then I have not heard from them or gotten a response on our case. Our application was sent to Potomac, and we filed online. Can anyone give me a clue on what’s going on? Has anyone else in Nigeria that is processing through Potomac of 2020 gotten a response?

Assuming you are a USC, processing times for IR at Potomac for i130 are 11.5-14.5 months, so you are still within normal processing times. They are only taking case enquiries about processing time from those who applied before Nov 2019. https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/

I am a USA citizen and I haven’t even gotten an approval... is it because of the ban that was placed on Nigeria?

No, as I said, it is because that is what the processing time is at Potomac. I gave you the link so you can check for yourself.
