Hello everyone,

my I-129F application was received by the Texas Lockbox on November 27th, 2020.  The check was not cashed yet and I received no receipt with a case number.  My package was mailed via FeDEx.  I sent an email on January 8th to lockbox support and I only got the automatic response.  Prior to that I had created an online account and sent a message on December 22nd.  They emailed me back on January 13th asking me to re-submit the request.  At this point, I don’t know if my application was lost or if it is still awaiting to be processed.  There is no one I can talk to when I call the 800 number.  At this point, what is your advice? It’s been two months and still no receipt.  How do I know if my application was lost to resend a new application? What should I do?

You are not alone in this. Most filers from the last week of October and onward have no movement in their NOA-1. USCIS has acknowledged delays at the Lockbox but has provided little in terms of accurate processing expectations or transparency in when we should expect to see receipts. Most current information I've received from USCIS is to allow three months from delivery then re-engage with support for additional information.
