Hi...

I put in my 750 back in Aug 2019 - so almost 18 months ago - my Extension expires around Easter...

I'm in no hurry for Citizenship and with all the covid going on I didn't file a 400 - figured I'd wait

Now I'm wondering: should I file a 400 and it might speed things up and I get the 2 for 1 this summer 

Or is it 'too late' to speed things up and to file now would actually just draw out this waiting limbo even longer?

Might I just be weeks away now from my 751 and able to relax for a while?

Looking for advice and suggestions - thanks!

Filing the N400 with a pending ROC may or may not affect the overall timing.  Since N400s are processed in local USCIS offices everyone has different timelines.  There are anecdotal stories of timing sped up and slowed down, so there is no certainty.  As to filing, I always say if Naturalization is the end game, why not get that clock ticking, but of course Naturalizing is a personal choice.
