The Biden puts America first thread

In the future I am voting for whoever is nicest. I think America is sick of bombastic attacks from both sides.

 

Dan Crenshaw comes to mind of someone who is nice, who constantly says we need to disagree on ideas and stop going for the jugular every time.

 

The last election here in Ga was insane with fear mongering attack ads every 15 seconds. I literally got as much as 9 pieces of campaign attack mail some days.

 

with the exception of Warnock, who ran a fairly decent campaign

I will never ever be ok with the Paris Climate Accord because it makes us to be chumps and still leaves China to be a "developing nation" until 2030. All the while they are putting out ever more emissions while we are cutting ours by innovation alone.

Let’s see, take away gun rights guaranteed by the Constitution, grant amnesty to people who violated our immigration laws- that those of us here had to follow, and grant them a path to citizenship to boot. Let a caravan of vagabonds enter the country Covid be damned. Sounds like a good start for the first day on the job.

Attacks usually come from being attacked, and I believe they need to be countered when it crosses the line,  but in a clever and respectful way while delivering as maximum a  blow as possible, Kind of like what Dan Crenshaw did with that idiot on SNL.   Republicans hated when GW Bush allowed the media to walk all over him, it was embarrassing. And then comes Trump the counter puncher,  if only we could have tweaked Trump to be as clever and respectful as Crenshaw, Witty as Reagan and Empathetic as a Mike Huckabee,  he would have won the country over, especially with Women voters..

 

Ari Fleischer made a great comment last week that sums Trump best, he said;   "Trump is a political wrecking ball - but with remarkable accomplishments"

 

As for Biden's  "America First",  sounds a lot like "Hope and Change" and we all know where that went..  What Biden does at the southern border will be very telling,  you always want to judge a politician by what they DO and NOT by what they say they'll do.
