Name change during green card interview?

Just wondering if someone here was able to have their green card name changed to married name by speaking to the Interview Officer at the green card interview?

Or have their name changed on the green card after the AOS package was submitted? (like writing a letter to USCIS after the fact that you want to change your name) Thanks!

You can ask in the interview (if you have an interview) for the name to be changed. This is technically a change they can make but they may give you a hard time about it and it probably will cause a bit of an additional delay. If the card ends up being printed with your maiden name then you need to pay apx 600$ and file the i90 including your proof of name change (marriage certificate) OR you can use the GC as it is and at ROC fill out the forms with your married name and the 10yr card would be printed with it.
