We submitted our form i30 on January 3 2021 and was approved and sent to NVC on January 18 2021. Is it usually that fast? And has anyone here experienced such.

Case still pending at NVC though

Extremely fast, we have seen one or two of these reported in the past few months but still rare. Congrats!
NVC is prioritizing processing according to what visa types are /aren’t banned and this is a currently banned one, but hopefully for not too much longer. Do be aware there is a big backlog at the embassies so the line for interviews will be long too, but at least you’re through the first (and usually longest) hurdle.

I know right!. Thanks so much

I hope the ban is lifted very soon too. I can't wait to have my husband here with me

Most people aren't even getting the NOA1 this fast and knowing the case #

and your timeline says USCIS approved it and NVC got it the same day with no time in between for mailing the package from one office to the other?

i would be skeptical and think there is a mistake somewhere

I'm actually not skeptical. I guess this happened cos we are filing online

Yeah noa1 would probably have been same or next day with online filing? Between my family and I we filed about 6 things online the past couple of years and receipt notices seems to get generated very quickly. Still very fast for processing. But if NVC says they have it I don’t see where an error would come in.

Congrats.

If it is indeed an approval, this is one of the fastest. The fastest I have seen was a few years ago, which was 1 week (about 7 days). It was for a person in the UK.

That is extraordinarily fast. I thought my wife’s getting approved in just under a month was fast (got lucky and it was shunted to the then newly opened PSC which had a very low caseload at the time), but that’s blazingly fast.

I know right! I guess we just keep hoping for the best now. Thanks
