So I have been reading and I have a question.. My interview date is on February 8th, that is a month from my 2 year anniversary... will I still get the 2 year conditional green card or? It just doesn’t seem fair that I get that if technically we are already married for 2 years it’s just 3 weeks away from that point.. any experience in this?

Fair or not, it is based on the age of the marriage at time of the granting of permanent residence.

YMMV

Depending on when the medical was taken,  determines when the visa expires (6 months from medical is the norm)

but if you can travel after the 2 year anniversary,  i would for the 10 year green card but watch that visa expiration date and don't mess up

The OP is referring to the Green card interview for adjustment of status.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

Is it hard to remove the conditions? or just pretty much prove your marriage is still from love at that point too?

I heard some people applied for their Citizenship bc the 3 year mark came and the removal of the conditions still hasn’t happened

Removing conditions is more a hassle than difficult.

Yes, often times aliens become eligible for citizenship before conditions removed.   You simply apply for citizenship when you are eligible, if that is your wish.

YMMV

There is a guide here to help with removing conditions.  Yes, some people file for citizenship prior to receiving their 10 year card.  For some of us, the removal of conditions has been a long process.  We filed my wife's I-751 in March 2019.....still waiting for an interview.  The form is rather easy.
