I've been to a few places.

Went to visit a friend in Hiroshima. We visited with one of his friends and he quipped "ROK2USA went to Korea for the money I came to Japan for happiness" 😅

I would have moved there but I met my husband and got my dream job so Korea it is...

I'm stuck on the "island of Houston".  Korea sounds more interesting, for sure!

LOL! I would stay here forever but neither of us is Korean. So, it's either deepest, darkest Africa or Michigan. 🤣

We were watching 90 Day this evening and I told my husband I wanted to move to South Dakota and he gave that the big N-O.

That said, Jibri is a bit of a fish out of water there.  But that's another thread ;)

I am not ready for MI winter... it snowed there this week/weekend!!!

My winter is a balmy 54F... maybe I can convince the husband to move to Florida or California...

All I know is I'm fairly sure inground pools aren't common in MI so this dream y'all selling in this thread is beyond me.

If California wasn't so bloody expensive, we'd be living in Palm Springs or San Diego.  Maybe with all the Californians relocating to Texas, housing prices will drop to acceptable...one can dream!

Sorry, the ones leaving California mostly left the Bay Area. People are still net moving into San Diego, I think (certainly we aren't losing any significant numbers).

Tax man here says my house value jumped $84K this year.  It's all artificial for the moment.  Just angers me because well...taxes.

Michigan is great in the Summer, and not too bad in the Winter depending on your likes relative to activities.  Camping, hiking, water sports, skiing, snowmobiling, we have it all.   Never been to South Africa, but absolutely love Korea, and hope to get back there later this year.

Actually, in ground pools are fairly common here in MI, plus you have many lakes.  Yes, it did snow here last Tuesday, but it’s all gone now.  Supposed to be 28C this weekend.

I’m Canadian. Grew up on the SK Prairies, moved to the far north in AB and progressively moved south…then WAY south to Houston. Winter sucks. It’s nice to visit, but I don’t miss living in it!
