After going through all the work and turmoil it takes to immigrate legally, you think it's OK to just hand over legal status to someone who sneaks in the country, thereby cutting in line in front of everyone else working hard to do it properly?  I'm going on 2 years since I started the IR1/CR1 VISA for my wife and this last year has SUCKED, bad.

I'm for giving them rights if they do things properly like all of us here are doing.  There's lots of impoverished people in the world - that isn't the US's fault.  My wife's country is extremely poor, for example. 

I'm also in agreement with what @Cyberfx1024 is saying - it's not been all unicorns and rainbows here in the US with COVID.  We are one of the hardest hit countries in the world by COVID.
