We are about to send our i129f package. But one question still is really frustrating. There is a small cut on a photocopy of a birth certificate. It doesn’t affect any stamps or anything. We can’t make another copy in a month. Is it a problem?

plz help

Why can't you make a simple xerox copy?  You do NOT send any original evidence to the USCIS.

YMMV

Much ado about nothing.  However, if you are worried,  just go to the library and make a photocopy

Wow! Do you really have to give such bitter response to someone who may be already stressed and anxious about the process?

I mean, we can all use some kindness, right?

No wonder why some people feel discouraged when it comes to taking part in forums...

There are those of us like @payxibka who help hundreds if not thousand over the time we have been here. We don't have time to sit and figure out if our answer is going to make you feel better. We give you the facts straight away. We see it all the time, that people get their feelings hurt because we didn't answer them with information that would make them feel good. We will answer your question and if necessary, we will add links to find quantifiable information to help you. In the end, the information we give you, no matter what you think of the delivery, is going to answer your question and get you moving on the right track. What's wrong with that AND we do it as VOLUNTEERS. We don't have to be here, but we also don't have to be berated on how we deliver out information.

I come here as a VOLUNTEER, too and even though I may give people an answer they may not want to read, I still do my best  to sound as NICE and POLITE as I can.

No wonder why we’ve already had a thread about  some people’s rudeness in the forum.

Try to have yourself a NICE day.
