Ooh I lived in Duluth for a year. Love that place 😍Yes you need to reschedule. You are not considered fully vaccinated since there was no at least two weeks since your second dose. It sucks because 2 weeks will be exactly on the next day of your interview 😱 but if I was you, I would call early in the morning as soon as USCIS line opens up before heading  to the office. If they give you green light – go. Worst case scenario you will have to reschedule.

Thank you that’s very helpful. I will give it a shot on the D-day. I know I don’t have covid. I am so freaked out about it I test myself everyday.

I also have.a travel related concern. My interview is on July 2nd and I have an international trip planned on July 17th. Even if I get a same day Oath ceremony, I won't be able to get my passport in time to travel. I read that some other people had issues/long wait times after asking to reschedule their Oath ceremony through the USCIS helpdesk, so I was wondering if I should ask the officer once the interview is completed (and I hopefully am approved), if they could schedule my Oath for after I return from my trip.

I definitely don't want to take any risks and if I have to cancel my trip in order to be safe, I will.

You probably better off to ask the officer to schedule your oath right after you come back to the country, still better than reschedule

Just a story. My friend from Mexico one time did a kamikaze move and went to visit her family in Mexico almost a week after her oath. She had her certificate but she did not have her passport ready. I am telling this story because I know it crosses mind of many newly naturalized peers haha. So what she did, she left USA with her Mexican passport. She did not even bothered to check if she had at least naturalization on hand as to prove that she is a citizen. Of course, when you get naturalized, they take away your green card so you cannot see this document to cross USA borders. It is your passport only. I really don’t know ####### was going on in my friend’s head but of course she could not come back to states as easily as she thought. She had to prove that she is the citizen and it took some time because system was not properly updated haha. Once that was cleared she had to go back to American embassy to request a some document that allows her to enter United States. She managed to lie that she lost her passport wile was in Mexico but I don’t know why they believed her because you can see everything in the system. Anyways, don’t do that haha 😂 it took her 2 additional weeks to resolve the mess she got herself into. You can get your passport within 3 days if anything. I don’t think you need to show proof that there is an emergency case. The trip must happen within 3 weeks of application for passport. But you will need to submit itinerary. Or, like @Savva mentioned do the ceremony right after your trip

Finally!! Interview Scheduled today for July 22, 2021. Filed on March 10. Based on 3 years Rule (early filing). Cleveland Center. But, surprised with the huge gap between today and July 22. Usually they schedule it within 3-4 weeks. Oh well!
