Sucks for the EAD... I did get mine, like two weeks before the interview... Congrats on getting your green card, though. That's great! 

 

I just started a new job last week and the interview was today. Case was approved on the spot after a  fairly I just checked the case status now and it says "New card being produced". Seems like the Indy office is moving fairly quickly now.

I think you may have misread. The Indy office moved really quickly on my case after my bios. Got my green card 5 weeks after bios.

True, but I'd say it was mostly COVID and budget constraints. When I got my bios, they were only running one fingerprints machine. The officer I talked to said they were looking to hire more people. That's all I know.
