That is what we did.  We filed in February, and, later after we filed taxes,  we uploaded the transcript.  No issues, and it was not requested it at interview.

How did you upload after you submitted?
I included all taxes we have filed and included this year. I did not include transcripts and now thinking I should of??

When you log into your USCIS account, there is a tab for documents.  It should list everything you submitted, and there should be an option to upload additional documents.  It does give a warning about the possibility of those documents not being considered, but you can upload anyway and bring the hard copies with you.  We uploaded a tax transcript and two birth certificates after the fact and had no issues.

It is my understanding that they like transcripts.  As a backup, I would print them out and bring with you just in case.

Finally done.

Thanks!! I didn’t know that. I’ve never used the transcripts in any of my applications and always been okay. But I’ll do that once we ACTUALLY get notice for an interview. But thanks!!

My husband had his interview today. It was super quick, maybe 10-15 minutes at most. We are the Louisville field office. They asked him:

Who was president during WW1?

How many justices on the Supreme Court?

Where is the Statue of Liberty?

Name 3 of the 13 original colonies

Who signs bills into law?

Name one of the tribes of American/Native Indians.

He had to read: How many US senators are there.
He had to write: There are one hundred US Senators.

Hope that helps ease your minds that it can be quick and easy! He will hear in a few weeks about when his oath ceremony is.

The only downside was that I couldn’t go in with him because of Covid. Only people with appts can enter 😩

Good luck everyone!

Congratulations! Did he have his oath at the same time too?

He didn’t. They said he would get a notice in the mail in a few weeks with the information on that. We live in Lexington and they used to do the oath ceremonies here before Covid so I selfishly hope it will be here and not Louisville. I saw on the website that they aren’t allowing anyone else to attend them, but I hope that changes!

Hi everyone, i am a june filer but noticed some of you have already had interviews, (congratulations!). I wanted to ask something from folks who have been recently approved. I noticed that my case status says your case is being "actively" reviewed online. This happend a couple of days after i filed. Did any of you notice this status before you received interview schedule? Especially those in hartford, CT? I am just trying to understand if there is a relationship between this status and a quick interview date. Thanks

Thanks,

Thanks! Well,  a couple of weeks ago it was 14 months on the USCIS webpage. Later it went down to 7 months (All this estimate) before even being notified about the interview. I was notified for the interview on  6/22.

Now if I check the USCIS it says :"Estimated time until case decision approx 14 months."  So that really does not make sense at all.

Thanks, it looks like that estimated wait time means nothing, mine was 13 and today is 11 months,  and i still have pending I 751!

wish you all the best in your upcoming interview
