You may get and interview pretty quickly I applied beginning of March 2021 and have my interview in May at Baltimore! Fingers crossed it’s quick for you!

If you don't mind asking,  when did you hear back about the interview after you filed? I know timelines could differ substantiality, but I'm curious to know!

Joining this thread...We applied for my husband on 4/29 and received NOA and biometrics reuse on 4/30.  I am not sure if we are Cincinnati or Louisville field office (we have been sent to both in the past).  When I search on the USCIS website by my zip code, it says Louisville, so we will see...

They will send you to first available one when the interview slot will be open for your husband

and I forgot to mention, I have a pending  I-751since May, 2020. Besides a mail delivered NOA, I haven't heard back from them. You might want to check this update about "USCIS’ Processing of Concurrently Pending Forms N-400 and Forms I-751":

https://www.dhs.gov/publication/uscis-processing-concurrently-pending-forms-n-400-and-forms-i-751

Now I understand why MSC seems to be the slowest, anything with MSC appears to have to have an interview.....

It not really true, you could choose between the tests of 2008 and 2020 before April 19th, (depends on what day you apply) since April 19th, no matter when you applied you can choose 2008 test only

I thought this too- but look down the N-400 filed column and it says Filed on or after 3/1/2021 and initial interview any time it is 2008 version. It’s only if you filed between 12/1/20-3/1/2021 and got an interview up to 4/19/21 that you could choose. We all in April filers are now required to do 2008. As 4/19/21 has definitely passed and most of us have not been interviewed yet.

The last year biometrics reuse letters were different than the new ones after new administration took office. The former was the sign that your interview is close and your application is under real processing.

However the new ones, just an easy substitute of the normal biometric appointments you got before, when were applying, as many new applicants get their NOA and bio-reuse letter in the same day. So basically the old algorithm of one week to 4 months after bio reuse letter your interview would be scheduled, not working any more.
