Should I be concerned that I never received a notification in the mail for a NOA1? The check was cashed and I have the tracking number for my petition from the check but, I'm not sure if I should be concerned that I never received something in the mail.

Regards,

Rick

NO,

Rick,

My petition was received from the CSC on April 24, and I still haven't received a NOA1 in the mail either. My lawyer said that the CSC is running very slow and that is the reason for the delay. Hope that helps.

I still have not received the hard copy of my NOA1, but I have our receipt number and have registered with the USCIS website. Our NOA1 was documented as June 12 according to our portfolio. As fwaguy posted the other day, CSC is having printing difficulties and is behind. We don't need a hard copy of this, but we will get one eventually.

The only paper you need worry about getting is the NOA2. The NOA1 is merely a receipt showing USCIS has your petition. You already know they do, you even have your case number. For now that's all you really need.

Where is the receipt number on the back of the check? Tried USCIS website with what I have and it says the number needs to be 13 characters. :help:

In the endorsement section, 4th line down beginning WACXXXXXXXXXX

YMMV
