Hey Guys,

How can my wife and I ask for an expedited interview (ir-1) at the embassy in bogota? Has anyone in the last few months or in general asked for an expedite (in any country)  and gotten approved? If so, what did you do to make your case was considered legitimate?

Any advice would be helpful!!

Do you have a reason for it?

What is the basis of your expedite?

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

Where are you?  Have you already returned to the US to start the new job?

Yes I’ve moved back to the states now and she’s alone with our 9 month old daughter and doesn’t have any support.
